Is zo iets als powertoys. Dacht het via een nieuwsbrief van tweakers of techpulse zien passeren. Moest ik de naam weten dan kon ik zelf al zoeken.

@Johannes1956 dat heeft niks met instellingen te maken is een beter verkenner waar je 2 vensters in hebt. Iets wat linux al jaren kan. En nu in windows 11 vind ik die tabladen geen verbetering. Zouden veel beter zo meerdere venster maken is veel pratischer bij het verplaatsen is dan gewoon van venster 1 naar 2 zelf q-dir kan er standaard 4 aan wat super is

Dit zijn ze allemaal als het TC niet was.
@lange pier TS zoekt géén vervanger voor total commander of een andere verkenner. Hij zoekt een programma om de Windows-instellingen te visualiseren en/of te tweaken.
Er zijn er ondertussen hierboven al een aantal gegeven dus hij/zij kan aan de slag denk ik.

Dat is een afgeleid antwoord op post #17, welke nietveel te maken heeft met "Windows instellingen". De TS is dus niet opzoek naar een andere file manager. Ongeacht hij daar een uitgebreid antwoord op geeft waarom het (file management) allemaal op nietveel trekt onder Windows.

Disk defrag, gezien ruim 70% reeds op SSD zit is deze tool totaal af te raden.
File undelete, daar bestaan andere programma's voor die het beter kunnen doen.
Disk cleaner, dat zit ingebakken in u besturingssysteem.
registry cleaner, kan ook in Windows gedaan worden.
Startup cleaner, zit gewoon in de instellingen, daar heb je echt geen programma voor nodig.
history cleaner, Dit wee ik niet.
file splitter, daar kan dit programma voor gebruikt worden.
file shredder, dat kan met andere programma's volgens mij efficienter.
File lock kan in instellingen. eveneens verborgen mappen aanmaken.
memory optimizer, dat is onzin.
duplacate files finder, dat kan ook zo in Windows
shortcuts fixer, dat helpt meestal voor geen meter.
uninstall manager, daar gebruik ik Revo uninstaller voor. Denk dat je met Revo beter af bent daarvoor eigenlijk.
systeem information, dat is gewoon te vinden in u besturingssysteem.
registery search, weet ik niet. Maar kan dus zijn dat het programma daar goed voor is.
BHO remover. Dat kan met dit programma gedaan worden. Maar is dit iets wat je echt nodig hebt?
auto shutdown, dat kan windows zelf ook
systeem control, dat is lucht in een pakje.
stask scheduler, dat kan ook zo gedaan worden.
Kortom, gans dit programma is zo goed als overbodig.
