These first two steps you do to the computer where your printer is connected.
1. Share Permissions
1.1 On explorer, go to C:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS
1.2 Right click, Properties
1.3 Sharing tab
1.4 Advanced Sharing
1.5 Check "Share this folder"
1.6 Permissions
1.7 Grant everyone Full Control
2. NTFS Permissions
2.1.On explorer, go to C:\windows\system32\spool\printers
2.2 Right click, Properties
2.3 Security tab
2.4. Edit
2.5 Add
2.6 Advanced
2.7 Find Now
2.8 Choose "NETWORK"
2.9 OK
2.10 Grant NETWORK Full Control
This last step you do to whatever computer you want to connect to the main computer printer.
3. Install local printer
3.1. Go to "Printers"
3.2 click "Add Printer"
3.3 "Add a Local Printer"
3.4 "Create a New Port"
3.5 use the "Local Port" option
3.6 at "Enter a Port Name" enter: "\\Computername\Printername"
