Cordialement,
L’équipe Phishing ING

------------------------------------ ENGLISH / ENGELS / ANGLAIS -------------------------------------------

Dear,

Thank you for informing us that you received misleading e-mails. Your alertness is truly helping ING in her fight against fake websites.

We recommend you to take notice of the additional information about phishing that we provide on our website www.ing.be/phishing.

Are you the victim of phishing and did you notice that money disappeared from your account? Don’t wait to report it and block your Home'Bank/Business’Bank and Phone'Bank subscriptions straight away by calling the number printed on the back of your bankcard. This number can be reached 24 hours a day. Keep your personal Phone’Bank code and ING ID (printed on your bank card) at hand.

Would you like more information or do you have any queries? Call the helpdesk the number printed on the back of your bank card). Our employees are at your service Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We noticed that recently ING customers and non-customers received fake e-mails to phish for confidential information. Phishers try to use such information to access your accounts via Home’Bank/Business’Bank.

ING takes the security of Home’Bank/Business’Bank very seriously. Unfortunately it is impossible for ING to prevent such misleading e-mails. They are never sent by ING and sadly ING is unable to stop them. However, ING can take action against the underlying phishing websites and inform you. We can do this in several different ways: via our website www.ing.be, via Home’Bank/Business’Bank and by means of this e-mail. Let’s join forces to fight phishing together!

There is no need to suffer damage through phishing. You can avoid misuse by keeping 3 things in mind:

· Never give any confidential data or codes by telephone or e-mail. This applies both for PIN passwords and for the digits generated by your ING Card Reader. If someone in the street were to ask you for your house keys you would not hand them over, would you? Therefore ING will never ask you for confidential information via e-mail or by phone.

· Always go to Home’Bank/Business’Bank via www.ing.be and log in by means of the log on button in the top right. In this way you can be certain that you really are in Home’Bank/Business’Bank. Never click on another link to go to Home’Bank/Business’Bank.

· Do you want to be certain that you really are speaking to the ING help desk? Call us back on the phone number on the back of your ING bank card.

If you take the above preventive measures, you can do your banking in Home’Bank/Business’Bank quickly, efficiently and especially... safely!

Best regards,
The ING Phishing team
